Cloth Diapers

So, I am completely new to cloth diapering. I want to start from the beginning with this baby, but I don't know where to even start.

I found this on Ebay... is this a good deal?

Also, could I use them to potty train my daughter? (She just turned 2 years old and is 27lbs)

I had them, you get what you pay for. I had leaking problems with mine and they fell apart after about 9 months of use.

I invested in Bumgenius and the quality is WAY better.

For potty training, you'd want prefolds or a pull up style cloth diaper to make it easier.

I HATE alva baby. they dont' fit my newborn or my toddler very well. AIO's are horrible on newborns. very big and bulky. i think you need need to start with smalls ( or newborn if you baby is tiny) the lovely pocket diapers are just alva's. she says so in a blog. Check out cottonbabies.com

First those aren't aio, they are pockets. I have never used them but they look like kawaii diaper but with kawaii you get 2 inserts.

Alvas are really large. My small baby couldn't use them until about 7 months. She was super skinny though.
For a newb I would really suggest fitteds and covers.
I do think Alva have newborn too. buuuuut never used them lol.

That is a pretty averagely priced deal! Alva's are great. You can't beat them for the price. I have used pretty much every brand and style of CD imaginable and in my opinion not only are Alva's and Sun Baby's the best deal, they are also great quality. In 2.5 years the only diapers I've ever had delaminate are Fuzzi Bunz. My BG's are still in great shape but they look ROUGH. Alva's stay looking good longer IMO. I do agree with one poster though that Alva's run big. They didn't fit Em well til she was around 14 months but she was also only about 14 pounds then. Most people say they fit well around 12-14 pounds. You'll definitely need a newborn system. Just message me on FB if you have any questions Lauren! I agree with Kate   Our Alva's have lasted us a year..
