Quoting Clk:" Is your cat fixed? Was it spraying or pee? Could be territorial marking or he could have UTI."
Quoting ~The Lunar Flower~:" If you can't get the smell out then he's not going to stop & if he continues to do it after the smell ... [snip!] ... bottle to squirt him. I hate when cats spray. Took FOREVER for my sisters to stop but it did take them moving for it to happen"I think that might have been the problem. Maybe I didn't get the smell fully out? This time i'm using the vinegar/water mix that someone told me to use so hopefully that gets the smell fully out?
Quoting Crystal Marie S.:" Cats don't like orange and lemon peels. Put some peels in a spray bottle with water and let it soak for a day or so and spray the area. It should stop the cat from going there."If this vinegar/water mix doesn't do it i'll have to try that!!
Quoting JustDucky:" It absolutely could be marking, but it could also be him reacting to the stress of the new situation. ... [snip!] ... full, the minute they were empty he would start urinating again. And the best part is, it's just a pheromone, so no chemicals!"
Quoting Russian Mommy:" If this vinegar/water mix doesn't do it i'll have to try that!!"You could even add them to your vinegar mix, if you have them on hand.
