re: Do you carry life insurance?

I have 2 policies, my husband has 2, and my daughter has 1.

Yes I have a life insurance. My husband has one through the military. My kids don't have them, yet. If I pass away my kids get 50k split between them. I've had my insurance since I was little,

We all have one through my DH work, including the kids. I would like to get more but most insurance companies wouldn't cover my DH because of his Crohns.  

DH has one. I need one, and I'd like one for DD, too.

We have multiple policies.

I have a large one from work that is employer paid. I also have a spousal plan and a child amendment through them.

As a separate coverage through Edward Jones, we pay $70/month for $250K each for my husband and myself.

Yes we all have life insurance, including the two kids. We got our the second we found we were expecting.

When you guys say you have one for the kid... do you mean the kids are the beneficiaries? Or do you have a specific policy that goes to DH, and a specific one that goes to the kids once they reach a certain age?

I have a a life insurance policy for 250k (I pay 15 a month for it)
My son has life insurance for 25k (15 a month also but it has some cash value when he goes to college or something like that)

DH doesn't have life insurance and I really need to get him one... thanks for the reminder...

If DH or I pass away, spouse gets a certain amount and each kid gets a certain amount when they turn 21. But we have policies for our kids as well, so if one of them pass we receive 20k for expenses.

We have one that covers her if she were to pass away. It is there to provide the money for burial expenses. It would go to us parents.

And she is the secondary beneficiary on all of our policies.
