She was cranky today but I figured it was just a bad day she is going through a major I must be held at all times phase. She went to bed around 8 woke up while I was at the store (getting the meds for the sick daughter and sick husband) I got home and within 10 minutes puke everywhere. DH just went to lay her down again. My 3 year old is just curled up in my lap crying about her tummy.

No I just got over a bad sinus thing about a week ago and now DH has it but there was no vomiting or anything with it.

Weird. Well I hope you breeze thru it! No one likes to see sick babies and no baby wants a sick momma! Lysol time! Or some Water and baking soda!

Well she threw up 3 more times. I called the nurses line and they basically were of no help. Although I did learn no childrens pepto (which is actually just tums) for 1 year olds. She is just so miserable hunched over the couch just dry heaving and crying out in pain. AND now DH is throwing up. Seriously FML tonight.

I'm fine and my oldest is basically fine now just complaining of an upset tummy but no vomiting or anything. I'm thinking if I start in them it's probably the hamburger from dinner my oldest didn't eat it. DH is sleeping downstairs with the baby and I'm upstairs with the oldest. Poor thing is just dry heaving. I'm praying she stays hydrated but she even threw up the pedialyte

Quoting Squeaky McGee [19 wks]:" Can you give Pepto to a baby/child? It has salicylate (aspirin) in it. Small children, especially those ... [snip!] ... who may have a viral infection, shouldn't take aspirin because of the risk of Reye's Syndrome. Just throwing that out there..."

The children's pepto doesn't have salicylates so no worries about reyes syndrome.

Active ingredients: Calcium carbonate 400 mg
Inactive Ingredients: D&C Red No. 27 aluminum lake, flavor, magnesium stearate, mannitol, povidone, sorbitol, sugar, talc

OP: If she's having trouble keeping the pedialyte down try just very small amounts like a tablespoon at a time and she if she can hold it down then. Sorry you're all getting sick!
