Quoting ~Mommyof3girls~:" Okay at 14 months, I still wouldn't CIO but I don't even let my 4 and 5 year old's either. I'm not a ... [snip!] ... to sleep by himself without mommy. I mean, we're adults and we still co-sleep. Time and patience gets you a lot of places "I like the comment about SO needing to understand it takes time. Mine wants his bed back too but my little man is just 13 months and has slept with me every single night of his life. I've never once had a sitter or an overnight away. His crib is right next to my bed and he will sleep in it sometimes half the night but wakes up to get in bed with me. He wakes up crying like he's scared to death, and holds onto my neck so tight he's literally shaking. So I'm not willing to let him cry right next to me when he's honestly scared. Dad is convinced he's "working" me and knows exactly how to get his way. I don't think he's old enough to "plot" this whole thing out!
