You are seriously a super mom. Aren't you going back to work almost right after you have DD2 as well??

Its a little extra work. I have the crib in my room for now and sometimes I wish I could just lay him with us but I dont feel its safe. I just wouldn't be able to sleep with him there thinking I'd suffocate him.

With my son I breastfeed until he was 3 months and I didn't co-sleep. When I went to formula because I dried up I it was a lot more work at night. With my daughter I'm still breastfeeding and I've co-slept since she outgrew her bassinet at 3and a half months and she is 8 months. I'm pregnant again and plan to breastfeed and not co-sleep this time. It's going to be hard getting my daughter in her own bed before this baby comes.

Yepp. Braelyn nursed every 2 hours for about an hour for the first 3 months of her life I would have been so sleep deprived if I didn't.

I breast fed two years and never bed shared but his crib was in our room so when he woke up I fed him either in bed or rocking chair then back to bed when we were done! Bed sharing sounds so scary!

Out of three daughters, only our youngest is breastfed. We've co-slept with all three of them though. Just our personal preference. DH is a heavy sleeper so I always slept/sleep in the middle. We made a big deal about moving them to their own rooms and got them bunk beds for the older two at first (separate rooms now) and they loved it. They're 4 and 5 now and still come into our room occasionally but the 6 month old will sleep with us for a while since she's ebf and still quite young. To each their own though, there's no set limit on moving them to their own room/bed in this house, just when they're/we're ready

I breastfeed & have never co slept. I am too affraid I would hurt him. He is & has been on a decent sleeping schedule since he was about a month old. So he only wakes up once in the night to eat. We're doing great. (:

I never co slept with either of my children. They spend the first week and month (respectively) in the bouncy next to the bed till and then off to their own room and cribs they went after that. I never had a problem getting up with them, I'd sit and half doze and watch tv while nursing and then put them back to bed and passed out again

I only co-slept for naps on the couch. AH.....my fav times

But HELL NO I did not co-sleep! I beast fed for 12 months. He was in his own room at 3 weeks. I would get up, walk across the hall, feed him and put him back down, easy as that.
I found nursing laying down so hard on my back. I have huge boobs, not sure if thats way laying down was also so uncomfortable.

I hate co-sleeping. SO and I need that time together.

Not exactly. Well not intentionally.
My second baby was (and still is!!) a horrible sleeper. She always went to bed in her bassinet but during the night if I was too tired I used to feed her lying down so I could have a bit of sleep at the same time. After a few times doing this and realizing how easy it was it just became habit.
I would NEVER do it again though after reading something that happened to someone while co sleeping.

No, I did not co-sleep. Hard to co-sleep when you work the night shift. I wasn't comfortable with it anyway.
