re: gamer husband??

DH does the same thing. DD just walks up to him and asks for a kiss and he got annoyed with her. If she's making noises or a toy is he yells at her to stop, I'm always telling him she's not doing anything she needs to stop   He gets so into the game, but every now and then he will turn around and stare at me and say he doesn't want me to feel like he's ignoring me. I always tell him I don't but DD does  

My hubby is a gamer to, but while he gamesI watch TV lolit bugs me sometimes but awhile ago I got him to realize its not fair to me I sit at home everyday and him coming home is the highlight of my day lol he'll stop and do something if I want to but really it don't bother me

cleaning + man + games= no gonna happen lol I suppose like others said to the OP you could try reasoning with him, since games aren't the issue.But to be real I tend to slack off with cleaning when I play too many games if I put it up presto I see reality and a mess to clean haha

Sounds exactly like my life... except he's laid off right now so instead of looking for a job he spends morning to morning on his game. He can't even function most days...

My husband is and always has been a huge gamer. It's who he is and how he relaxes. He works hard to support my pregnant self, and our daughter. Plus he has stepped up a lot since I got pregnant again. If I'm super nauseous, he changes her for me. Then he goes right back to his games. The way I see it is, everyone has their little addiction, and IMO video games are just fine, atleast it's not something dangerous or nasty like Tabacco or drugs.

Exactly, I'd rather have my man here sucked into the computer than out doing dumb smurf.

I will play for hours if I'm left to my own devices.  

I've clocked in the most hours for Skyrim and Fallout.  

My husband is a backseat gamer. He's not interested in playing but he likes to watch while I play and try to boss me around. Sometimes I will be stuck on something forever and he'll come in and tell me exactly what I need to do. wth?
Oh and sometimes I make him get me past the hard parts like the dogs in the original Resident Evil.
