Toddler vagina question

This is a weird question and I'm not quite sure where it actually belongs...

My daughter was starting to get a bit of a diaper rash. It was a little red, but not bad or anything. But she also has this thing where she tends to scratch herself... The back of her neck mostly, or she'll stick her hand in her diaper and scratch down there (sensory issues). Anyway, I just changed her and I'm not sure whether it's more of a rash or if it's the scratching, but it was red and she had a few little spots that were bleeding.

I'm having trouble deciding what to do with it. She can't go diaperless for long periods of time. We cloth diaper... so I could just let her be naked for a while and put a diaper on her for the night. I feel like the cloth might be more soothing anyway. Or find some diaper rash cream and put her in a regular diaper, but like I said, there are some open scratches...

Is there something natural that would be safe to put down there, that wouldn't irritate her?

I feel like an idiot, but every time I decide on what to do with it, I second guess it again. Thoughts?

Have u tried coconut oil or vit e oil? Maybe some tto to cleanse it? Has she been checked for an infection just to be safe? Or get some cd safe rash cream? I have some CJs vegan butt cream.

Depends what type of rash it is.
DD has a yeast rash right now and I read online to use plain yogurt so for the past two diaper changes I've put some on her. Right now she's naked with yogurt all over her vagina..lol. Hoping it works before we resort to bringing her to the doctor.

No I had to order online   we don't have any crunchy type stores around here with that kinda stuff   I got mine at mybabypumpkin.com cause she's taking 35% off everything cause she's closing down.

We have some good natural/herbal stores around where I could get stuff to make my own, but none that have earthy baby stuff sadly.

Yeah there's like everything on there. I've ordered twice now haha. I got a pair of super undies, a snappi, a dipe cover, and the butt cream the first time. Now I'm waiting for another pair of super undies, a snappi, and two hybrid covers.

Boudreaux's natural butt paste in the green box/tube is amazing. My daughter gets a little yeasty discharge which makes her itchy and red. It is always gone in a few hours with this cream.


We are potty trained but I love gerbers training panties. They are super comfy. I wish they came in my size.

I'll have to try that! Their regular butt paste is usually really good.

Good!! Idk of she has the large ones left. I think they were scarce. But idk about te smaller ones. My dd is 5 so... She leaked once but she had peed a LOT!! The other couple nights she had an accident she didn't leak at all. I didn't even know she peed the bed til I pulled the insert out. I asked her why they were in the laundry haha

Rory is allergic to cloth   He he gets open sores where the skin is missing in patches. We use bag balm and disposables.
