Period question.

So I was on depo for 6 months. stopped cause me and my boyfriend are trying to conceive. I haven't had a period since i started depo which was back in July of last year. Well a month ago my doctor put me on the pill and said it should help me get my period back. I stopped taking it after about 2 weeks cause I was seriously breaking out with it and I felt like crap. Well today which would have been the day i would have started the sugar pills, I started bleeding! Not heavy but enough to need a pad *tmi*. My question is, do you think its my real period?

I guess it could be. When I stopped taking the pill, I bled for three weeks. Wouldn't it make more sense just to not take any birth control, so it leaves your body naturally instead of trying to jump start your period?

More than likely is. I wouldve waited to get it instead of using the pills.

I stated that to my doctor as well. But I was pretty desperate to get a period started. She said just taking a month of it should work. and if I didn't get anything to call her back. Like I said I stopped taking it cause it made me feel like crap and I was breaking out. So I figured if I stopped it wasn't really going to do any harm anyways.
