Is this normal?

I wasn't sure where to post this. I had my d&c this morning and I am in a lot of pain. Ibuprofen and Tylenol don't touch it. It feel like it does on the first day of my period but they told me I shouldn't experience much pain. I can hardly walk or sit on a hard surface. I want to take a bath so bad to see if it helps but I know I can't. I usually don't have such a low tolerance for pain. It has hurt since about an hour after I woke up. I had Tordol in recovery but that only helped like an hour.

I don't think so. I had a D&C when I was 11 weeks and I felt FINE the next day. I puked a lot the first day because my body hates anesthesia... but other than that I didn't have any pain. I didn't even bleed more than spotting the first evening.

Maybe you have an infection?

I just had the procedure done at 11:30am today. The pain started probably around 1. I took my antibiotics. Should I call my doctor tomorrow if it doesn't let up? I don't want to seem whiny but they said slight discomfort and while it has gotten a tiny bit better after the second dose of Ibuprofen, it still hurts a lot. It is mostly in my back and side now.

I would call. Couldn't hurt to ask. I never felt that way.

I called and left a message for the staff on call. I took more ibuprofen and it didn't
Help. I also tried to tak e a shower to help with the pain and almost passed out. I got very nauseated and dizzy. Hopefully, they call me back soon.
