you should wait til 6 weeks but its up to you. if you feel comfortable and arent in pain, as well as if you feel safe about risking infection then go for it... but nobody is stopping you of plenty of people have done it before they are told to

They recommend 6 weeks because of infection and all that. After I had my first baby, my OB said that as long as I wasn't bleeding anymore, felt up to it and USED PROTECTION to go for it whenever I was ready. So we ended up not waiting the whole 6 weeks after any of our kids.

I waited 4 weeks. Just make sure you use a condom and go slow.

f.Y.I. I havent seen my doctor yet. Not till next week. & thisis my 2nd child I cant remember how long I waited the first time. Everything was. Normal delivery no problems I had stitches but they are gone now

Usually... they tell you to wait 6 weeks while you're still in the hospital...

Hey, I agreed with the chick who said if you were comfortable with it and what not, that it was up to you. *shrug* I had sex PP at 3 or 4 weeks, as soon as my pills kicked into my system and I was done bleeding like a stuck pig.
