Uhm, what about the name Allison? A lot of girl names end in "son."

I personally think Addison is a good name.

my sons name means crooked nose. i didnt care about the meaning when i picked it out. also addison isnt bad, i like it a lot better than many other names ive heard people pick out for their little girls

Allison and Ashley are boy names too.

Eh, it's better than Shawniqua or Je'minai or any of those other smurffy 'youneek' names.

Who cares what people name their kid. It's not your kid. There's tons of names used for a boy and girl.

I don't understand why it's matters.
To me it's a unisex name ... Just like many others.

I considered the name Addison for DS is he had been a girl...   I really just like the nickname of it, Addi. lol.

Andrea is the female form of Andrew. That wouldnt have swayed my mind if I loved the name.

eh my name is kelly. is more so a girls name around here but in actual ireland its used more as a boys name.

kelly as well as addison is just unisex IMO

I understand but do you go around and tell everyone who named their daughter Ashley or Allison that those too are boy names? There are so many names that are commonly used that used to only be for one gender.
