I need some critique!

This is my first time doing an actual little photoshoot with my Canon. I'm slowly learning the different shooting modes and what not. Give me advice, tell me what you think!

Love them!! Huge fan of baby toes right here and he is gorgeous. Not really good at critiquing on a professional level but I think they look good.

I don't know a damn thing about cameras, or photoshoots...
Just wanted to say, I really like them!

Especially the first, and third!

They're just cropped REALLY tight. And some have a magenta cast to them.

Idk why but it creeps me out with him being in a box like that..reminds me of a casket. Other than that..they're nice.

Thanks!! My sheet that I was using for a back drop was kind of skinny so I couldn't get that far back for photos. I probably did the color in editing, though. I played with a few of them..Just to see what they would look like.

Ahahah. It's a chest!! This was the smaller of the two. I got it all set up and then realized he was a little too big for it..The bigger one is more square and less casket-y.

Try pulling back some. Also the photos are on the cool side. Also it looks as if your focus fell on the box instead of his toes in the first two.

Also looks like you were using flash, try to bounce it more or move closer to a window with good light to avoid harsh shadows from flash. Only time I ever use my external flash inside is when it's dark outside and I don't have enough natural light.
