That is absolutely beautiful. Where did you get it?
I've never seen a baby hammock or heard of it tbh until this post. Does your baby sleep in it all the time? Is it safe or can she roll out?

my husband was same when I brought it, i justified it to him by saying its like a bouncer/swing/bed in one and if you add up the cost of all those things then youre basically saving money especially if you use it for future children, and all kids get get a use out of it. My 4 year old is using it when the baby isnt napping it. The company has to put a disclaimer about it being rated to 40 lbs to cover their ass, but the metal in the spring is capable of holding more and we use a hook in our ceiling beeam that is rated to hold 250 lbs so technically my husband could sit in it if he wanted to but that would kill the spring lol Sylas is 45 lbs and swings in it.

Happy hangup, you're not suppised to leave them unsupervised, and we don't. The company if you talk to them personally will tell you customers baby's sleep in them all the time, ours is used for nap and over night, but in there disclaimer to cover their butts from idiots they tell you its not recommended...

They're not easy to get out of, like a regular hammock, my 4 year old needs some helping getting out of it. I can show you a picture of what happens when the baby rolls cause I have one from yesterday when she rolled while sleeping, it basically tilts and causes a pocket they roll into. When we sleep with it at night we lower the chain so its only a couple inches from the ground and we have padding underneath in the event that any climbing out were to happen, wouldnt be any more dangerous then a baby climbing out of a crib, except the fall is drastically lower since you can put it inches from the floor...

She also likes to just be bounced and swung in it when she's not tired. makes her giggle like crazy
