True. I guess its hard because imagine being a cute teenage girl and going to highschool with the name Bertha. haha. Some names do not fit unless you are approaching 80..

Then again, some names are cute for babies and stupid for adults like...Lexie..

Exactly.
I mean not everyone has the same taste in names, which is why there is so many different names! Not everyone is going to like the name William or Chloe. But some people do! I mean... my son's name is Maxwell and I hear mixed reviews with it some people LOVE it and others think it's an old man name. I think it fits him amazing.

I don't get why Harper sounds like a boy name to people??

Before it became popular I always thought I would name my future son Harper. I know a man in his 30s named Harper. But I always thought of it as a boy name because it's a last name in my family, so I would only ever give it to a boy. However it's awesome on a girl for other people. I only ever think girl name now.

Lol.

I LOVE Rhys btw. It's on my list but DH doesn't like it. He likes Max and Maddox.

Sorry to say im kinda a fan of giving the boy a girl name and vise versa......but don't get me wrong a name can be tooooo boyish for me. Like some famous lady named her daughter Jagger Joseph Blue.....that is such a negative. I already have a name that I keep going back and fourth about just due to the fact of what people would think, but now its like I like it so much.....I say it like im already pregnant with her. But I also know when you see them sometimes their names can change cause they look like something else other than the name you had. Ava Monroe is a name that I love love love love....hate to say don't have a boy name. But my sons name is Antonio Cortez.......Something close to his dads - Anthony and the middle name is his fathers as well! I love saying his name like Tony Montana its sound so strong and strong.....lol So if I have another boy it must be in the same orgin.

For two boys it must be equal and the same if it was two girls......like me and my sisters name are nothing alike. Im Chiquita and she is Brittany! I should have been Ashley, Heather etc instead , but don't get me wrong I like my name, but I wouldnt give my same sex kids totally different names that didn't flow!

Just actually noticed......I know its bad, but I just love it so much. And with a last name like Westmoreland I need something that would make the first name shine like her last. So many times ppl see my sons name and are like Westmoreland " Wow, what a name (last name )!", what is he mixed with????? He totally doesn't look mixed and he is 100% African American
