Just wondering how many of you call your child by their middle name instead of their first name? We named our son James Declan but call him Declan.  

Nope, I use my kids first names...I'm not sure if they even know their middle names lol

With my first, we call him by his first name, but this one we'll have a nickname for, seeing as he's going to be named after his daddy lol.

My oldest son goes by his middle name. I also go by my middle name.

My kids don't, but a lot of my family goes by their middle names.

Haha! Mine is just starting to recognize his name. He's gonna be so confused when he gets older because the doctors office, WIC office, and his school will all be calling him by his first name. I've screwed him up already and he can't even walk.  

Two of my three go by their middle names. Catherine Leigh is Leigh, Jacob Brendan is Brendan, but Brooke Logan is Brooke.

Mine does. Ask her what her name is she replies
Savannah Marie....go to time out

I call my DD by her first name, and several variations of it. She has two middle names though.

DD goes by her first name. But my little sister has always went by her middle name. I know quite a few people that have too.

Its pretty funny especially when she adds her last name in there too. When I do something she sees as wrong she looks at me "jennifer ann go to time out" I can thank my mom for teaching her my name.
