Yeah... This is the way I'd do it too.

I'd give up the membership lol. That's too much face for me. I'm surprised I can tolerate seeing my husbands day after day without going apesmurf. Hah I kid. But seriously I'd stop going to the gym.  

12 hours a day, 4 days a week? Jesus! Idk... tell her that you're busy, and be firm about it. If she gets pissy, too bad for her.

I would just tell her straight up at that point, lol. That's way too much smurfing time.

I actually had a WIC appointment about 2 weeks ago and as we were leaving the gym, she mentioned she was coming over and I was like, I have an appointment. She asked if she could just go with me. I told her that wouldn't be a good idea because it's always really packed in there. So that was that, I didn't think she was coming over...but she showed up later that day.     I probably am just going to have to be more blunt about it. I just don't want to hurt her feelings or something.

12 hours a day?! Hell no. Even with my best friends I can't do that. After about 3 hours or so I'm kicking people out. She seems way overly attached to expect that much from you. You can still be great friends without her being attached to your hip. Be blunt with her. It's the only way you're going to get your point across.
