Like 2 1/2 hours. My mom lives near there and I'm going to visit her in 2 weeks so I guess I'll do it then. It's just a freaking hassle when I can be doing other things like chilling with my friends down there instead of waiting at the hospital with 2 cranky kids...because our mailman is a lazy ass. Ugh.

I think it was awesome they did so much to make up for a bad experience! A couple weeks ago I wanted to complain about a drive through I went to so bad! The girl actually argued with me through the intercom box. She was reading back my order and I said "you didn't add whatever it was.". She snapped back "I didn't add it because you didn't order it. You have to speak the words for me to hear them.". I didn't know how to respond and I was a little afraid she might spit in my food so I just asked her to add it. LOL I'm such a pushover, haha

That was in Savannah, like Spring of last year. But we'd been going to that OG for like 5+ years...and this 1 stupid experience completely ruined it. Luckily, we moved...we've already been to the one here in Raleigh! Kailee made me go on our girls day last weekend. lol I can't complain, I love the pasta fagioli.

Hahaha what a coincidence. Lily got this air dry clay that was awesome. However, half the packages inside the package were dried out already when we opened it. It put a damper on our playtime together. I told the customer support line and said that there was a big difference in the packages... some had a tiny amount of clay, some a lot, some were dry, some were way wet. It just was really weird. Well, today I get a package and they sent us 6 packages of new clay and so far, the clay seems to be okay. Maybe a tad moist but not too moist.

A few months ago I did a survey on the back of a Carls Jr. receipt about a rude cashier I had... they sent us free coupons in the mail. I guess companies still try to keep your business after a bad experience!

We bought sealord tempura battered fish portions and there was a massive tail bone in it. We called the company to just tell them it was in there and they got us to take photos and everything. She apologised and a month later we got an apology letter from them with $30 worth of vouchers. We didnt expect it but were so greatful cos we love their products and they are expensive.
Caitlyn's Mom opened a pack of Cadbury favourites and one bar was opened and weirdly shaped so i rung them and turns out its really common, its the bar at the end of the line and they usually have a bucket of them at their factory and workers buy them for a ridiculously low price but she sent out a voucher for a couple of bars.

I dont understand why people call up and complain about fake stuff. A guy at school called up Pepsi and said that he opened his can and there was creamy white stuff floating at the top and he got 12 free bottles.

It's nice to see companies rectify wrong doings. A lot of the time they aren't given the option and get a bad wrap. I ordered bare essentials and never again will I. I ordered the trial kit before I purchased a big thing. My friend ordered the same exact thing I did the next day. Same color and everything. She recieved hers a week later I didn't. I called and she told me I should have recieved a notification saying it was out of stock and would ship when it came back. Was completely rude. So I waited and waited. 2 more weeks passed and nothing. No email nothing so I called wanting a refund and she refused to give me one until the item arrived and I sent it back. The kicker was she said it hadn't left yet STILL. 2 more weeks came and I finally got it.

I used to always suck it up when we experienced terrible service, now I speak up but haven't gotten many refunds or freebies. The only place that did something about it was BWW a few months ago. We usually go to one about 15 minutes from our house, but that day we were out and decided to stop at the one in another town for lunch. It was awful! Our fries were all crunchy, and burnt, my kids refused to eat them. The server forgot forks, and our dipping sauces and he only checked on us once the entire visit. We complained to the manger and all we paid for was the tax on the wings. We haven't gone back to that one since, we stick to our regular spot.

My comment is asking a question. You seem to go above and beyond when you're unhappy with something. Do you go above and beyond when you are happy with a service, or do you only save the extra effort for when you're pissed off?

Exactly. I make a point to send complimentary emails and post complimentary reviews when I have a good experience because I think too many people only comment when they're upset, and not when they're happy, which is unfortunate.

I do it all the time when I get smurffy service.

My motto is, you don't get it if you don't ask for it.

That being said, when I receive exceptional service, a compliment is always left.

Nothing ever comes of me complaining about smurffy service or product. When I was pregnant with DD I got a moldy breakfast sandwich from coffee time. Didn't notice it was moldy until I bit in and saw green and tasted sour sausage.. Ugh I'm going to be sick thinking about it. I went back and complained to the manager very obviously pregnant that he gave me a moldy sandwich.. you know what he said? That it was green pepper. Yeah, fuzzy green pepper that is on both sides.. the egg and the sausage. whatever. So I called their corporate and she was so rude to me she was like "did you keep the sandwich" "no" well then what do you expect me to do about it". Never will I ever go to a coffee time again. Which is so disappointing because they are the only place I know that carries the strawberry milk I like.

WOW i would have been livid.

I would have told them they were responsible for providing a service in exchange for your money and the mold was tangible evidence of negligence. The company clearly bears full responsibility for your bad experience // food.

I know how to talk to these places to get stuff done.

That is my issue I think. I really don't know how to. Lesson learned, never go to any coffee shop that isn't a Tim Hortons.
