BH contractions or not?

Im not sure what to make of this. Last night I got sick and felt like I was getting the flu I felt like crap all day with some cramping and I just noticed Im having contractions I think. They don't hurt so I didn't notice but I don't even know how long its been happening because I've been napping and haven't noticed. I can only tell if I put my hand on my belly and feel my belly tense up. They seem to be like every 20 minutes or so but they don't hurt. Could It just be BH contractions or does this sound like I might be going into labor??

Sounds like BH to me. Does your belly kind of cave in on the sides and become really tight? Those are BH contractions, they should be uncomfortable not painful.

Real contractions are pretty painful. If the contractions don't stop or are extremely consistent, definitely call your OB and ask!

Okay. Im going to call L & D just to see if they think I should come in. I was pretty sure they where BH but when I told my mom she flipped out and told me to go to the hospital because that's how it started when she went into labor with all three of my sisters but she is a little paranoid about everything.

Definitely sounds like BH.
