chocolate....

What's the right kind of chocolate to use if I wanna make chocolate covered bananas and strawberries? I bought chocolate chips and melted them...yep didn't work. It was pasty and gross lol I almost bought the semi sweet chocolate in a block and melted that. But I didn't. What makes a silky Smooth chocolate that also hardens correctly when put in fridge?

I always use Almond Bark. Every time I try something else it doesn't work for some reason =/

Did you use a double boiler to melt it?

if you get a little wax. and melt that into the chocolate while the chocolates melting ,then chocolate chips will work perfectly fine. I used it when making buckeyes
