Graco Nautilus.

So if I were to get a Graco Nautilus would that be the LAST car seat/booster I would need...ever? lol. Like would that seat last until my kid didn't need a seat anymore? I'm thinking about buying one next year when we get our income tax and putting DS in it (he'll be 3 then so hopefully the myride lasts him until then) and then we will give the myride to the new baby once they outgrow the infant carrier.

Yes, it will definitely last. I got one for my daughter, and it's still in great shape. I got it for her when she was a year, and she's 5 now.

Yup. He should def fit in the my ride til then. If u want to do extended harnessing you could also look into the brutal frontier if u wanna spend a little more. But the nautilus is a good seat too.

I have two of the graco nautilus for my boys who are 3 and 4 (5 in may). My almost 5 year old is 46lbs. He still has til 65 for the 5pt harness. My 3 year old is 33lbs. I don't think I will have to buy another carseat for them.

that's awesome. It should work out pretty good then. We may have to buy a second Nautilus (or something similar) down the line then but it'll work for now then.

We turned Addison forward facing at 3 years old and bought the Nautilus. At 4 1/2 she's still in the harness, I hope she won't outgrow it until she's 6, I'll be sad one day when I have to take the harness out and turn it into a high back with the seat belt   lol

yeah that will make me sad too   lol. we just turned DS around to FF a week ago. But I've heard mostly good things about the Nautilus that's kind of why I'm leaning towards it. Plus it's probably the best deal for the quality and how long it will last us.

It really is! Asher will hopefully be able to rearface to 2 1/2 or hopefully 3 like Addison, then we'll buy him the Nauti also.

That's why I bought a britax frontier. We have a nautilus in SO and my moms cars but she outgrew our Eddie Bauer I had in my car and I could bear the thought of her in a seat belt and she's on the top slot of her nautilus' so I got a frontier. I hope we have extra money once she's past the top slot in the nautilus so I can get another frontier. Or just pray she stops growing haha

Is she tall? My son's pretty average I guess. But if the Britax lasts a lot longer I may go that route then

Yeah she is. She's 50 lbs and 48" I think. She's on the last strap slot. Idk how much more room she has for Britax but that thing is TALL! Haha and harnesses to 85#
