I mentioned that they thought he had a twin because they heard two heartbeats so they were sending me for a dating ultrasound. By the time I got there the twin had vanished. I went to the ER when I was 8 weeks pregnant and the ER doctor told me I was miscarrying because they seen blood/blood flow all around him and in the sac, after my midwife heard the two heartbeats she confirmed it was twins and the blood flow was from his brother not blood from him. They shared the same sac and placenta. When I went for my dating ultrasound the twin had vanished (VTS) and after he was born at 37 weeks the size of a 35 week baby organ wise (IUGR) and weighed almost 7lbs my MW instantly knew why and what had happened. There was even a little spot in his umbilical cord where it look like it had another limb but was knotted (it was very tiny). I didn't really mention it after my dating ultrasound because he vanished, but apparently VTS is pretty common with technology now days.

Oh, I never seen your post about it. I would've thought I'd remember that since we was due pretty close together. The only one who ever posted about twins was Bekki.

I mentioned it before bekki even came in. It was before I found out monster was a boy, so that was pretty close to the beginning of the threads I'd say. He vanished around 14/15 weeks because my dating ultrasound was at 17 weeks (I think) and then my anatomy scan was twenty something.

Guess I never really thought much about it. He was there for a little while and then he just vanished. It was something I just put on the back burner because I felt like I didn't really get to know him like I should have.

And yes, somewhere around that time. I was hospitalized then and shortly after I left the FB group. Do you mind to PM me if you have anymore questions?

Oh I don't have anymore questions. Just was curious why you never said anything in our group or to anyone in there about it. I remember when you was in the hospital in preterm labor. I guess I'd assume you would've mentioned it then but hey everyone is different right?

He wasn't there then, he vanished long before that. There was a time when I got put on Flagyl around that time because I went into labor and my OB tricked my body by giving me pills for a bacterial infection which also stops contractions. We think (MW, OB, and myself) that's when he vanished.

She meant that you were in our group until 33 weeks and never once did you mention this or your house that burned down. Yes we even discussed it last night. No one remembers jack crap Tabitha. That's what she's getting at ;)

It really doesn't matter if you all remember it or not because it has nothing to do with you all. I attempted to go through the due date thread last night but we were very chatty lol.

I kept very, very personal stuff to myself (like my house burning down). I didn't tell anyone that had happened aside from my best friend. I lost everything I had for my children and myself, that isn't something you go around advertising.

When it boils down to it, I wouldn't get something permenant if he never had a twin. He vanished at 14/15 weeks, we were all still getting to know one another; some things I kept to myself (like Tara when she just left).

I get that your house burning done is personal, but you posted it on here. Our group would have helped you. That's kind of what we was there for.

I didn't post my house burning on here until I talked about it with another member who's house had burned as well & my house was almost done.

You can call it however you'd like because I know what I'm saying is 100% the truth. When the boys go down for a nap today I will go through the DD thread and find where I mentioned it.

sorry..fell asleep last night. but yeah she is a walking machine! she started when she was 9 months old.
