This girl right here. Holy smurf a friend of a friend was given 2 brand new and isn't even sure if shes going to bf, so she offered up one for free. Omfg I'm so excited. Its a medela manual pump...apparently you can do both breasts at once with it. I don't really care what it is...its brand new and free! I love free

I just got a free pump today...technically not free because we pay 600 a month in insurance premiums but ya know. I was using a medela manual before and I could only ever get 2oz with it got 5 today with the electric.

I'm just deliriously excited. I have been going back and forth on what brand/kind to get and was too scared to commit to one because they aren't cheap now if I don't like it, at least I'm not out a smurf ton of money.

Have u checked with your insurance company? I got my Medela double electric for free through them. Out also came with a handpump. And Medela all the way. Best choice for sure.

I haven't called the number on the card, but I logged on my member portal thing and looked it up and it said it only gives pumps to "at risk" babies and preemies. I dunno but it didn't read like I was covered. I was so bummed.

What that means is when you have the baby the dr writes you a script and they put a code that means latching issues. I've got one on two diff bcbs plans no problem. But call the number and just ask. They'll tell you exactly what you need to do.
