Getting pregnant without all the OPKs?

An obvious answered question, but still need to hear it for myself...
if my husband and I have sex every day, can we skip having to buy all the OPKs and just have it happen? I have irregular periods but I started this month Mar 2 and it ended yesterday.. I have 5 opk tests and unsure if I should use them (not sure when to??) or just have daily sex..

I would do sex every other day.. worked for us.

I never used OPKs. We just had sex alot and wallah! My eggo was preggo!

if you want you can buy a bbt thermometer (basal body temperature).. and use that to track your temperature (using fertility friend and charting that will help you a lot too)

The charting and testing was too much stress so I gave up. I have VERY irregular periods (2 times a year sometimes, or every 3 months). I was losing interest in sex so when we did do it, he had a lot and I guess it was potent LOL We'd only have sex about once a week and somehow I ended up preggo when we STOPPED trying so hard to monitor everything

yeah I wouldn't worry about charting and stuff unless you go a few months with no luck.

We tried the whole crazy TTC thing and tracked with OPKs and monitored all fertile signs... it didn't work, though. We gave up, and bam, pregnant. We had only had sex three times that month because of our hectic work schedules, so I was a bit shocked.

I really do think the stress of tracking things minimizes the chances of fertile couples. Try having sex every few days or every other day.

Or even just when you are really in the mood. Cause you know, our bodies have ways of shutting that stuff down if we don't want it ;P

SO and I tried for 2 years, finally gave up, relieved some stress (barely had sex, once a week maybe) and ended up pregnant the next month.
