Yes. It protects the head, the most sensitive part. When you cut off the foreskin, it leaves that vulnerable. Then it roughens up, and decreases feeling

You can say the same thing about a boy... It is only done for cosmetics.

people circ their boys for a variety of reasons of their own.
reasons that wouldn't apply to their daughter for most.
