baby clothes sizing question

Trying to figure out all what I have and what I need...

When something says 3 months or 6 months vs. 3-6m 6-9m
would it mean that something that says 3 months is 0-3 or 3-6?

It's all a general number, basically. My 8 week old has out grown his 0-3 month clothes as well as some "3 month" clothes. It's a range to give you an idea but you'll just have to wait and see how your baby is shaped. To be safe, I'd get some newborn and 0-3 clothes then go from there once the baby is here and those sizes are getting snug.

I've found that 0-3 mo and 3 mos run about the same.. so wld 3-6 mos and 6 mos.  

i dont go by the size or whatever i look at the height/weight on the tags.
my sons four and a half months and wears some clothes 3-6, some 6m, and some 6-9..i think it depends on the brand

I hate how Carter's does that! NB means 0-3months, 3 months is 3-6 months. 6 months is 6-9 months, 9 months is 9-12....you get the picture. I know, it's confusing as hell lol.

It can also depend on the size of your baby my son is almost 6 months and wears 6-9 and some 9-12 mo clothes I think he even fits in some 18 mo clothes much like clothes for us it depends on how they are made,the style and what not.

I am counting the clothes I have bought and that have been given to me and I have a ton of newborn, 0-3 months and 3 months. I dont know if I should be counting the 3 months as a smaller 3 months or, like, a larger 3 months as in 3-6. kwim? I don't want to end up getting more 3-6 months if the 3 months are that.

How did you know that it was them?! Lol. I guess this is not just confusing to me.

3 months is pretty comparative to 0-3.

I don't really know of any other baby clothes brand besides Osh Kosh and I don't go there because it's expensive lol. Trial and error is how I learned. BTW, unless the baby is preemie he'll grow out of NB super fast so only get a couple outfits in that size.

Both my boys were over 8 lbs and 20-22 inches long and they were in newborn the first 2 weeks, lol..

It totally depends on the baby. DS1 was preemie and was in NB for like, 4 months so I had a TON of NB clothes. DS2 was over 8lbs and in NB for maybe a week. I was like smurf, what do I do with all these clothes? lol.

sleepers-3
dresses-2
All newborn-3 months.
I think that may be good.
