It takes repetition. You will do it over and over again, but eventually she will start staying in time out better.

I'll try it. Sometimes it's hard getting her to stick with something because since we're staying with my parents they want to do stuff their way & they let her get away with things that I don't allow her to do. Hopefully soon we'll be back in our own place. I wonder if all of the changes are confusing her too.

I would sit down with your parents and explain why and how you are going to parent and then once you are all on the same page it will be easier.

I'll try it. It doesn't always work, they kind of think since they raised a 21 year old & a 16 year old they don't need to learn anything new. lol

shes probably acting this way because her dad is not around much its hard on them. my 2 year old just started getting to the point where he wont listen to me anymore but luckily hes good in the stores and out in public he also will only sleep in his toddler bed and thats because he has never slept with me. you need to start putting her in timeouts she will keep getting up but you just have to keep putting her back also taking toys away are good. as for the bed i would confront her a little than put her back in her bed. if you dont start disciplining her now its just gonna get worse when the new baby comes.

I think it might have something to do with him being gone too. She was never like this before. I'm trying to get him to find a job closer to us so things are easier for everyone!
