I recently started up a photography business (in january) and i've thankfully had the opportunity since to photograph some ridiculously adorable babies...just wanted to share some!

I've always wondered though, how do you get babies to stay so still/calm while taking pictures? My son when he's awake he wiggles soo much, and I doubt he would fall asleep in a bucket or anything like that lol.

You started in January?? Like two months ago?? Must've been doing it on the DL for a while though right cause you're amazing! Like, better than some photographers I know who've been doing it for years

I wish you could have done my DD's newborn pictures. The only reason I like them is because they are of her and I can't get anymore but the pictures SUCKED. I am jealous lol

I think some of those pictures are gorgeous! But I'm not into the whole stuffing a nb into a bucket....just makes me feel like poor baby just wants to sleep!

They are very asleep usually  Full belly, very warm house, portable heater, white noise..and also the age of them is very important too. Within the first 12 days is ideal since they sleep a lot at that age and are easiest to pose

I started my business the 1st of this year but I've been using an DSLR for a couple years...pictures of my own little girl and friends kids here and there

Thank you! and they are pretty comfy in there, newborns who are uncomfortable never hesitate to let me know  I even get sleepy smiles from them in there.

Beautiful! Also can i say, its awesome that you actually know what you are doing and started a business not just i have a dslr and can take some pictures so im going to charge people!
