My first was 5lb 15ozs and is built just like his dad- total skinny butt.
My second was 7lbs 3ozs and is built just like me, bless her heart!
My third was 7lbs even and seems kind of in the middle.

I think it just depends on their genes, really. Especially if, like mine, they are all born around the same gestation. My 1st was 9 days over, my 2nd 10 days, my 3rd a week exactly.

Haha I know! .6oz shy of 11lbs at 39 weeks!

I had a 5 hour induced labor....3 pushes and 2 stitches. VBAC

#1 at 2 days before my due date- 7.13
#2 one day before my due date- 8.13

my second would've been bigger but I had to be induced because I had no signs of going into labor soon and she was already getting too big for me (I'm 5'4 and when not pregnant I weighed 150).

Wow what a machine lol go you!
Just goes to show that the size of you baby doesn't really have much do to with not have a vaginal delivery!
I've seen posts on here people being worried about not having a natural birth because their baby is 8lb lol

I know it. Ive heard about teeny tiny women deliver 11lb babies naturally and big built women need assistance with a 7lb baby. But in general, your body wont produce a baby bigger than you can handle. I think planned sections just because of a baby's projected size (unless there have been previous complications with the mother) is bull!

Ahh I'm sooo curious to see how big this baby is lol. My first was just over 8lbs... and she seemed soo big when they handed her to me after she was born, I was like omg where is my tiny newb! lol.

I think I'd have to agree with that! My friend had a c-section at 37 weeks because her belly was measuring like 48 weeks or something, and the baby was measuring a little over 9lbs on the ultrasound... it was her first baby and they didn't even have her try a vaginal delivery.

Anyways, the baby ended up being 7lbs 11oz, and she was put in NICU for almost two weeks because her lungs weren't ready...

first: 7 pounds 2 ounces 34 weeks
Secound 8 pounds even 37 weeks

So not sure if I had gone to full term they each would have been over 10 lol

omg   That is seriously the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard. Everyone knows ultrasounds can be WAY off and most women would be able to deliver a 9lb baby just fine. Worst part about that is, if shes at a hospital that doesnt do VBAC, shes forever forced to have sections with future children...most likely all for nothing

I know I couldn't believe it! Since it was her first baby and all, she's was pretty naive to everything (I would've been too) so she didn't even argue with them, just went along with it. I wanted so badly to say something... but decided to stay out of it. It's just sad that her baby came out and had trouble breathing, and now like you said she's pretty much forced to get c-sections from now on, because there are no hospitals/doctors in our area who do vbacs.

She was a bigger girl to begin with, and she gained around 60lbs, so for her belly to measure so big it didn't seem that odd. And since there was no excess fluid on the ultrasound, and no blood pressure issues or anything else, I just don't get why they did that.
