I dunno how many weeks you were or anything but I had an abortion at10weeks in November of 2011 for many of the same reasons and dh and I are still going strong. I will say this though, I had pretty minimal bleeding on day 1-3 and thought nothing of it but day 4 I was in a lot of pain and feeling veeery bloated and I don't know if it was because I had spent the last few days laying/sitting down a lot or if it was for other reasons but dh started massaging my belly and about a gallon (legitimately) of the worst looking clots came falling out of me uncontrollably. Called the doctor and he said I should of been doing uterine massages apparently to help keep blood from pooling.

Not trying to worry you or anything at all I just like to give people a heads up when they say they've been bleeding very little because I thought I was like going to die from blood loss.

i am currently at 4 weeks. i have three kids and i have an appointment for an abortion on the 15th. Im terrified but i know it is the best decision not only for my kids but for myself as well.!!
I just am praying i am strong enough to live with this decision i am making.
I also do not want anyone to judge me.

im glad everything went smooth and you have great support. and it seems you have a very positive outlook, which will definitely help you in the weeks and months to come, or whatever your healing process takes.
mine certainly did, every now and then i would have those "what if" thoughts or soul searchy moods-i used the situation as a chance to grow and learn about life a bit.
I still always felt relief within the mixture of feelings and only allowed myself to be strong because i-like you- was very pro-life for myself before then and if i was any less strong i felt i would crumble. now that my due date has come and gone i dont even look back any more at all.

I really do wish you the best of luck and if you ever feel the need to crumble a bit, we are all here.

Immediately after it happened, i felt a pang of sadness, but kept reminding myself I did it for my kids, for their best interest.

I know you mentioned feeling emotionally fine at the moment but please seek help if that changes (exspecially w/the shift in hormones you may go through the next several weeks as your body adjust to not being pregnant any longer)
Depending how many weeks you were....too little bleeding can be as dangerous as too much (due to fetal tissue or placenta not being flushed out) I am not trying to scare you but i have read several post in this forum and others of women that got major infections after a termination proceedure. Be on the alert for fever (even a slight one)

They said some people may bleed a tiny bit, to none at all at first, or they may bleed consistently every one is different. If i continue to have no blood i'll contact them.
I had some last night, and some slight cramping (that went away when I took midol) but thanks.

drink plenty of fluid....midol has a diuretic in it and can dehydrate you.

Really good.I will concern about it.
