doing stuff alone with your LO?

How often do you do stuff alone with your LO, outside of the house?
My LO is 6 months and I keep making plans with friends to go to this place called COSI with LO and I and everyone bails   So I might just take him and make it a bonding day for us  

If we go do anything, it is 90% of the time just him and me. No friends with kids, and his father is not invited because he bitches and moans and ruins EVERYTHING.

Zoo trips, aquarium, aviary...all just the two of us.

Umm... Every day? Lol I don't wait on people. If I want to take him to a new museum, or park I just go. I don't really invite people either lol but my son and I are kind of loners and like to do things at our own pace. People just tend to mess that up. But we've been doing this since he was little. His dad works a lot so it's just us.

A lot. I'm a sahm. We go out to eat, or the store, shopping, walks, to the park.

this place has a play/learning center thing for kids I wanna take him so bad. Plus I figured he'd like seeing all the new stuff and all the lights  

All the time! We have a blast on days when I don't have class, I take her to the park, to the coffee shop, and we walk the mall.

Just take him. Don't wait for people. They just bail.

This. Definitely don't wait for someone to go with you. Or you will never, ever go. I learned this one way later than I should have. And now I just decide to do something, and we go together.

And I think it's more fun doing it just the two of us, than it is with most other people involved.

I learned this way before I had my son. Lol people would bail on me constantly. So I've just gotten used to doing things by myself. And now with my son. Plus we like it that way. No one to hurry us up. Plus he never ever naps. I hate when I do go to play dates and the moms try to hurry it up to put their kid down for a nap.

Yeah, mine stopped napping before 2, too.

I never really tried to go do fun stuff before I had my son. lol He is my excuse and my reason.

That's how my son and I are with the science museum. We live there lol. He will spend 6 whole hours there.
