re: what could your baby do at 5months?

posted 6th Mar
Zoey is 5 months now. All she does as far as mobility is roll rom tummy to back a grand total of 3 times in the past month, and I think those were accidents, she didn't actually try to, lol. And she can hold on to my thumbs and hold herself in a standing position for about 15 seconds, she loves doing that. And she holds stuff, reaches for stuff, and examines everything.

By this time, my older 2 were army crawling and rolling over both ways. And at this time, DD1 was starting to sit up as well. DD2 is just not interesting in moving around yet, lol. Which is more than fine with me.

My daughter will be 6 months in a few days but all she can go is sit with support, she isnt rolling or anything yet, she was also a preemie so idk that may make a difference.

It will. If she was born say 6 weeks early expect her to do those things about 6 weeks after her peers. She will eventually catch up.

Dd was 3 weeks early and did not smile until closer to 3 months. It all eventually came together

DS is like this.

He rolls from tummy to back but barely... He does not sit up unassisted and doesn't even try to... He is a big immobile baby lol

Most people only come to these type of topics to brag (albeit: you asked) so whatever people are saying their five month olds are doing -- it isnt the norm for most babies.
