No Name Baby

Ugh. I held off my whole pregnancy on giving my son a name. I was waiting to see him before I named him. Didn't work.   He has been here 5 days and I still have no idea what to name him.

Did anyone else have trouble naming their baby?

What names are on your list?

i didnt know you could even wait that long to name your baby! i thought that when you leave the hospital (within 2-4 days) you have to have a name picked out and have the baby's papers filled out. lol

This is going to be me next month.

No, they write Baby Boy/Girl LastName.

My second child was named 2 days after she was born. Mainly because me and her dad couldn't come to agreement on names we both wanted something different so we ended up not choosing either and finding another name. Leah was named a couple of hours before we left the hospital.

To answer your question... no. We had LO's name picked out a couple months before he arrived.

oooh okay well i could have sworn that at the hospitals i delivered at, they told me i had to have ti picked out before i left lol. but i may be delusional on taht lol.

Here I have 6 weeks to name him until the birth certificate papers come in the mail. But still....I feel bad.   They are calling him 7/11 lol. Because he was 7lbs 11 oz.

I took us a while with both, longer with our second daughter bc we were all out of girl names...but we came up with the names before I had to go to the hospital.
We have a boy name picked out, but we are SOL if we have another girl lol.

btw OP, i did not have a name picked out as i went into the hospital with 3 of my kids. or if i did it changed before i left. i decided on their names while in the hospital. my last baby is the only one (hes 2) that i picked his name and did not change while in the hospital. I went in with the name Giovanni Isaiah and I left with him named that. lol and btw congrats! he was born on my birthday LOL
