Maybe this bub will be a little chunky but long and be able to fit in NB

hmm well my daughter was shorter when she was born (19 1/2 inches) She stayed in the 50th percentile for height and then shot up to the 90th but that was when she was well out of nb diapers. It just depends on the baby. OP I think if you end up not needing as many nb size diapers you could donate them.

I may have used NB for a few weeks only cause we had them? I know she couldn't wear NB clothes simply because they were too short. She was a skinny big baby.

im just gonna try to stock up on size 1 and 2s then. i have 5 dozen size 1s and im sure as long as they have the 2s i can stock up on even more than that on those. i just wasnt tryign to think that far ahead. i was thinking about right after shes born lol. i have been getting clothes and things from them too. they have 50 cent new onesies and sleepers, 10 cents for a hat or socks. 25-75 cents for pacis bottles and other random little things and 1-3 dollars for blankets (depending on the thickness) i have got alot of stuff so far this way but i can only get one of each item per week. so like one pack of diapers, one onesie, one sleeper, one pair of socks, one hat, ect...

My oldest never wore NB, he was in a size 1 for a month or two
My second, he was in newborn for almost 3 months, then a size 2 for almost 3 months.

My advice is go straight to 1s. My MIL bought 2 huge boxes of newborn diapers, I used maybe one of them and it was too small so I gave them all to my friend who just had a 6 pounder.

My daughter was 8lbs 7oz at birth. I went thru a 2 boxes of NB diapers with her.

But I was a first time mom and i changed her frequently. lol

my lo was 8 pounds 14 ounces and fit into newborn for maybe a week if not even

D was 8lbs 9oz when she was born and I went through 3 small packs of newborn diapers and 1 large box and 2 small packs of size 1

I didn't bother with NB and I think we used size 1 for maybe a month. I only bought the small packs of size 1 for this pregnancy

could you bring it back to the store where you bought it and exchange it? They let us do that in the town I live in!

I stocked up on 2's, 3's and 4's for now

All my boys were 9lbs plus.. my last being 9lbs 6 oz.. he didn't fit in NB at all. He went straight to size one. He was in those about a month or two I think.

its not a store so no i cant. its a little pregnancy resource clinic that has "mommy classes" for pregnant women and women with children. they teach all kinds of thigns (from pregnancy info to parenting info) and you receive credits for each class and each time you do your homework. but u cannot exchange anythign after you have bought it.

Oh that sucks! oh well I'm sure you could fit him/her into NB even if it is only for a little while.

My 1st son was huge but I bought 2 newborn outfits this time around because I am determined to cram him in there lol just to say I did! hehe

Addison was 9lbs at birth, Asher was 8.4. We used NB with him for about 3 weeks. Probably the same with Addison as well. Size 1s we used until he was 3 months I think. He's 5 m and in 2s.

I can't believe how different babies are.
My oldest was 8lbs 15oz and didn't fit NB
My second was 9lbs 2.5oz and fit NB for 3 months, he could even wear some preemie stuff cuz he was so thin (22.5in)
