How old was your kid the first time they tried or was eating fast food? McDonald's or kfc etc......
And how old when they starting eating like junk like food? I'm just curious.
Even small tastes count. Lol

My daughters about to turn 2 and the ex and his family have fed her McD's since 16 months and KFC recently I don't feed her that crap!

8-9 months when Daddy was sneaking her Mickey D's fries. I put a stop to that pretty quick, though.

My kids were pretty young like 6 months BUT we hardly ever eat fast food so just every once in awhile they consider it a treat (which I do to since I won't have to cook). I think every now and then it's alright

Probably around 8-9 months when they had their first Chicken Nugget and french fry. We dont eat out a ton but they have had it. Usually we go to McDonalds after doctors appointments since the one by the doctor has a playplace.

My oldest was 9 months when I let him suck on some pizza crust, he wasnt a fan of the cheesy part and I think he was 1 1/2 when he had his first happy meal. Its a rare treat in our house for the kids to get fast food. Except for pizza!

At about 18 months if give him a fry or two if we were out running errands and I grabbed a medium fry to tide ME over til I got home to real food. He got his first happy meal at age 3 during a cross country road trip. He has then about once a month or a little less now as a treat and he's almost 4. He prefers Subway sandwiches.

Around 1 1/2 years for fast food. First bday they get their first piece of cake.
I know most probably think that's too early for fast food. But believe me, fast food is not a regular thing for us. Like, we'll get McD's about once every 2-3 months. So it's not like that's part of their diet. And they get treats like cookies or ice cream about once a week.

I'm at home and usually cook for everyone (my place is separate) but we leave it open and roam wherever lol
My parents bring home a lot of fast food like 2-3 times a week sometimes more. Anyways I was curious cause I have yet to feed my 13 month old any of it.
I make homemade stuff I freeze for this reason lol the only thing she has had is off my plate at real restaurants lol like real chicken and potatoes and veggies.
I think I'm doing good so far at keeping her off the junk lol
My other kids were like 8 months

I really think it's fine once in a while. Sometimes you have things to do and it's the easiest option. I freaked out on SO because he was feeding her fries coated in salt that I wouldn't even eat. I was not okay with all of that salt, eww.

12 months. we get her a kids meal every once in a while. she mostly just eats the apples anyways lol. she is 14 months

12 months with a french fry. We have it so rarely that I am okay with it. Sweets like cookies are a bit more frequent but my son prefers fresh fruit over the cookies so I dont stress it too much. I just try and limit the amount.

We also share an ice cream every couple of weeks...

See I still make homemade food for her and freeze it and if we have take out, I just pop it in the oven like homemade chicken and spinach burgers (mini ones) no cooking really just throw it in the oven.
When we go out for the day I make her food and warm it up and put it in a Thermos, like homemade soup and pastas and I bring like cheese and crackers, little containers of hummus etc.....even when we eat in a restaurant I pull out her Thermos and feed her.
I just never thought of stopping and I know exactly what she is eating Kwim?
The only thing bad she had is juice. I have to mix her meds in juice only (the taste is horrid) so she gets 4 oz of apple juice every day. Lol and needs it tillhet referral to the proctologist is in (sp?)

I'm late! lol But J didn't have fast food until he was like 3 years old. My reasoning was...why should he? lol And junk food...eh, he had his first sweets on his first birth day.
