She's been battling cancer for years and had colorectal cancer before but went into remission. When they found it again it wasn't just inside her colon anymore, it had spread to her spine and into her spinal cord, so there is really nothing that can be done anymore.

We are just waiting and spending as much time with her as we have left. It's been a long road and her sufferings have been great, so seeing the end is sight is a very mixed blessing.

I told my bosses boss (who is from England) that it must suck that her people came here and once we formed a nation, we sent them back.
