People who abuse animals have been known to get more jail time and a higer fine then some people who have abused their kids.

It is pretty amazing. I'm sure I'm not the only person that had a mean older sibling... The point isn't people though, it's a cat. Cats are generally nasty and walk on their feces and I don't want to have to bleach my table down 10 times a day. So like any animal if you teach it that when it is somewhere it shouldn't be that it will be scared off by a loud noise or annoying feeling it will stop doing what it is doing. There is no difference between that and putting a shock color on a dog that wont shut up.

I've never had to shoot any animal, or person, to teach them not to do something.

No they wont. There is no animal control here, they send cops. If they cared about animals they wouldn't have told me it is pointless to shoot BBs at the dogs coming in my yard and to just ACTUALLY shoot them or call them and they will do it for me. Scaring an animal isn't illegal and a BB wont kill it

Oh give me a break. No animal control. SPCA is all over the place unless you live in a third world country, which you do not. So quit talking out of your ass, if you dont and cant handle an animal I suggest you dont have any. I am terrified for any child in the home. Cause you know scaring them with just a "harmeless" BB gun will be next. Shooting at any animal with anything that can be considered a weapon is illegal, oh and you can get charged with animal cruelty by throwing a rock at it.

It sad that someone would actually try to justify shooting an animal to train it. A few months ago we had a dog come into the shelter that had 5 BB pellets in his hind quarters, and yes BBs can kill or seriously injure animals

No there is NOT any animal control in Westwood, CA. and the only people charged with anything when my husband shot and killed a dog in my yard were the owners of the dog for not keeping it restrained. I'm not shooting smurfing bullets at a cat it's a BB. You are an idiot if you would compare children to animals.

One pump does not even hurt, it can not puncture a piece of paper so obviously those dogs were shot with more force.
