cook it first?

posted 6th Mar
So I'm making meatloaf tonight and I'm going to add bacon in it. Do I cook it first then add it or do I mix it in raw?

I would cook it first. unless you want it chewy and not crispy, but even then I would cook it a bit first.

I just made meat loaf the other night with a brown sugar glaze ontop and it was stuffed and so yummy. lol

You can do either, but I would cook it first, because I would want it to be crunchy.

Yeah I was thinking about cooking it first but then I was like wait would it over cook then? Which in retrospect seems silly lol.
