I am teaching my DD (16 months) sign language and she catches on so quick!! I am so glad i made the decision to do so. When she wants something and i can't quite understand her, she will sign it to me!

She knows....

You should teach her the one for bathroom, my 4 year old told me his teacher taught him so I don't know if it's right but it's like the sign for N and shaking it back and forth.

That's a good one. I will have to look into it. That would help with potty training.

be careful with that though...some kids that are taught to sign with all words, may not want to use their words when they can.....

I had a friend who taught him every word in sign, and he was 3 years old and wouldn't talk, and there wasn't anything wrong with him, just it was easier to sign....

I am kind of worried about that, but Mas has already started to partially say mom, so I'm trying for him to do both.

Fingers crossed mommas!
