Yea, I would see a GI doctor & have them test you for colon cancer.

It's probably not crohns or colitis. Diarhea is a huge symptom for both, as well as lots of pain.

You know, I wonder if I have Chrons...I don't bleed but I get horrible cramps to the point I am (tmi) throwing up from the pain & having diarrhea at the same time. I have to keep running back & forth to the bathroom too, I just keep going & keep cramping....I probably go about 10 times as well when I am having what I call an "episode"

Wouldn't colon cancer be painful as well?

I've had fissures and never had pain with them. hmm :/

I don't think I like your doctor LOL

LOL me either, not at this rate. How does a doctor usually find out if it's fissures? She said that generally she would be able to feel something like that when she did the internal exam. Lol, and she said that if it was fissures or a roid that the blood wouldn't be in the stool, rather just at the top of the stool or something like that (can't remember how she worded it exactly).

Like I have passed small clots of tissue and what not, and she said that's why it doesn't sound like a roid of fissures.. but it REALLY doesn't sound like crohns or any other inflammatory bowel disease.

I would call that IBS, and if it keeps up, see a GI for a colonoscopy to rule out Chrons or UC

Fissures generally 'coat" the poo with blood. But not always. I've had deep fissures (from Chrons) that bled so much I went to the ER

My advice is to see the GI, but unless this happens every poop, there is likely to be a dx of roids or a deep fissure.

Keep a detailed journal

You could also have a food allergy. That can cause rectal bleeding

I feel so bad for you!! It sounds like you have had it rough!

Yeah, well that's the problem is that there is blood in my poop, not just around it. I should ask about allergy testing maybe. I have a referral to see a specialist, I am just waiting for the call to get in, they are scheduling a colonoscopy.. which I would assume could pick up any of these conditions. I sure wish she would have been more thorough now.. if it's something stupid like an allergy I am going to be soo aggravated.. but I supposed relieved at the same time. She didn't mention that as even being a possibility.

No, it was like tissue. Like when I passed it onto the toilet paper, it didn't fully break apart when squished together (sorry again for tmi) it was like a small piece of meat or something, I don't know how else to explain it.

Thatr would be a bit concerning to me

Though it could be a food allergy affecting the way your body breaks down food, leaving chunks undigested.

Hopefully it all get settled for you soon.

Ahh ok...yea I have been to GI doctors but I can't get a colonscopy because of my bleeding problems & because of my connective tissue disorder, my organs are VERY fragile & can be punctured more easily than most people.
