TOMS Wedding Shoes

posted 6th Mar
So here's my question...

We were considering having our whole wedding party wear Toms shoes... I think they are super comfy and love them, they have a cute wedding line. I'm going to be wearing a pair with my dress... can't see my shoes anyways! My bridesmaids will also be wearing long dresses.

But do you think purchasing the shoes for the wedding party (the wedding ones run about $60 a pop) would be an okay wedding party gift?
Or would that be dumb to give them shoes?

All of them except my sister (who wouldn't care) would most likely wear them again. They all have the same kind of style.

At my sister's wedding she gave all the brides maids little jewelry sets, so they could have something to wear with their gowns.

So I thought maybe it's okay to give them something to use for the wedding and to keep?

I'm not really sure on the etiquette.

I also didn't want to be like, "Oh you're buying your dress/renting a tux/suit, but I want you to buy these $60 shoes too." so this way I'd pay for them.

IF you can afford it, heck ya. I'd love that as a bridesmaid gift. way better than a cheesy picture frame or whatever

I don't think its dumb. Then again, if I am a part of a wedding party, I don't expect gifts so I think its nice of you to give them Toms (which I LOVE). Its your day and I'd be there for you. Gifts for me doesn't matter. I'd be happy lol.

Nah, I think it's nice that TOMS does the whole gives away a pair for every pair you buy... plus we only have 4 people in our bridal party. 2 bridesmaids and 2 groomsmen.

It's a great gift! We gifted our bridesmaids the jewelry we wanted them to wear. lol. I think people love getting nice new things especially when it helps them spend less too.

Wow how nice of you. I am sure they would love you paying for them. How many do you have to buy?

Is everyone going to be wearing the same style or you going to have them pick them out? Of course yours will be different right?

Yeah mine and SO's will be a little different... I was thinking of either having the groomsmen in grey or black ones... and I was going to talk to my one bridesmaid who'd actually care (like I said my sister already said she doesn't care.) and see which ones she wants out of the wedding ones and just have the girls wear those.
