We had to call the police. Enough excitement for me

Oh my gosh.

I was taking DS to school and when I get out of the car the doors automatically locked. Of course, this is the one time I DON'T have my phone and I happened to have tossed the keys in the passenger seat. Did I mention that it's pouring raining? Yeah.  

So here I am with my autistic son locked in the car. He's confused and kicking the door and even if he could reach the handle he wouldn't comprehend the demand.

I had to flag another mom down and call the police.   The sent firefighters to come unlock us. His teacher came out and held an umbrella over my head. They finally got the car unlocked. His teacher took him into school for me and I had to sign some paperwork.

wow, that sucks. The old town I used to live in had a locksmith that would come whenever. One time I locked my car while it was still running and I called them and they got there with in 15 minutes! I'm glad your LO is ok!

One time my oldest pushed the "lock" button while I was getting my youngest in his seat. I closed the door and realized what had happened..I was terrified! My baby was locked in the car with the windows up, car not running, in the heat of Texas summer! It was like 115* out! Took 15 min for them to get there.

I've done this before. And can you believe the fire department told me I would have to wait for a locksmith to come help me because the A/C was on and he was sleeping.

I screamed at them for 10 minutes until they decided to send someone.

I was ready to, I had my eyes on his face the whole time ready to break in the very second he looked like he was going downhill, he ended up nice and red but he didn't even cry. Sigh. Just thinking about it makes me anxious!

I had to do that once   I left the keys on my seat & went to open my son's door, & all the doors randomly locked when I closed the driver door   sucks
