I'm giving up

I am upset I never knew having a thyroid issue effected your milk production I have graves’ disease which is in remission but according to the doctor can mess with my milk production (I wish they would have said something before I spent over 400 dollars in pump supplies and a pump) things were going great for a week then I just started drying up. I have tried everything mothers milk tea, mothers love special blend, seeing a lactation consultant, pumping every two hours, and having baby latch and all I am getting is drops :-( baby had to be switched to formula and hates it and it just sucks I really wish I could have continued to breastfeed but I think it’s time to call it quits :-(

aww it sucks doesnt it.
I tried for 3 weeks with my son but he just wouldn't latch on. He became hysterical if he went near my boob and just hated it. I was gutted because I bought loads of stuff too. I managed to pump for a while so he had breast milk for 3 weeks but my mum said to stop because it was making me exausted and hes had the important bit anyway. I had my heart set of breast feeding and tried constantly for 3 weeks then had to admit it wasn't going to happen =[

He just turned 2 weeks today and loves to be on the boob but is frustrated that barely anything is coming out :-( just sucks I really wanted to do this...
