Like Pulling teeth *venting here*

posted 6th Mar
I had a miserable weekend 6 hours away that ended with DS and I getting sick...I couldn't even really clean myself after getting puked on all night because I had a crying sick baby who needed to be cuddled and taken care of...everyone at the house was sick/asleep so yeah...then we hit the road to come home to SO ..I get home...take care of DS..fix dinner...SO picks up a couple things and agrees to give DS a bath while I clean off his smurffy cloth diaper and clean up the mess in the kitchen. He is lieing on the bed watching cartoons with DS....cool so can I take a shower...I don't really want to nurse the freshly bathed baby on my nasty sweaty possibly vomit remnant covered arms. I mean obviously I wiped myself off but I am no where near clean.

Freaking SO says no and he is tired now...I say you were going to stay up and hang with your friends anyway ( usually guys night ) he gets up and throws a fit and stomps out.

Im SO tired of being made to feel like it is asking SO much to let me take a shower by myself or even smurf alone. He honestly just eats and falls asleep when he gets home...I found him sleeping on the couch and my BIL playing with him when I got out. Yeah you get to stay sleeping on the couch motherfhjftu....

Sorry just angry and venting

How much longer are you going to let him get away with not doing 50% of the work when it comes to his child?

...Its honestly hurtful that he will put effort into staying awake for his guy friends but not for me when I really need him. He KNOWS I am sick and have needed him all weekend. It makes you feel so lonely when the person you love the most treats you like this.
Sorry you are on the same boat

You can PM me if you would like. I will try to stay awake for a bit longer.

I would ALLOW him to treat me that way or not put in 50%. He's just as much a parent as you are and I wouldn't give him the choice of not helping. I'd just take the shower and remind him that he's a parent just as much as I am and while I'm in the shower, he can handle his child.

Boycott anything you do for him Laundry, blow jobs, dinner when he gets home, cleaning his side of the rooms whatever it may be. Men respond to no contact and once you stop doing those thing well lets just say he will be at your beck n call. Men are like dogs you have to train them.

Ignore this. This is terrible advice. This is a good way to start a fight and have a dirty house.

If you're doing smurf, he needs to be a father. He didn't impregnate you so he could be a courier from the crib to you, he impregnated you to be a parent and parent his child.
