This entire thing is petty, I know, but it pissed me off.

I was happily watching a show on netflix and my SO decided to just take over the Xbox and t.v to play hockey..... I wasn't done watching my show.
I told him and he said, he didn't care as he proceeded to change it over. I told him its not fair because he does that smurf to me all the time. I get kicked off the computer, I get kicked off the t.v and he expects me to just watch him play his games. I got up off the couch to come up to bed and he got all pissy saying I could have the Xbox back. What a smurfing douche. Uhg!

I don't think you're being petty..that's kind of rude of him.

Yeh not petty. He was being a gigantic rude douche bag. And why the smurf would you want to sit and watch him play a smurffy fake sports game when you were enjoying a show? Of COURSE you would leave the damn room, is he special?

RUDE! Dh was like that when I first got with him. I had to train it out of him. His mom spoiled the ever loving crap outta him because he's the baby. Gah now I'm mad!

I dare SO to do some smurf like that to me. It would only happen once before I unplugged the system and sold it

That's really rude. It's like an unwritten rule that you don't change the channel/take the xbox/whatever, when someone else is using it.

My husband tries that smurf. He pulls the "its my xbox" card. Well fine douche, have fun playing without MY controller lol. Men turn into little babies when it comes to the xbox I think...

got his fave game and the cable to the back of the xbox and taped it to the back of the wardrobe, kept it there for 2 weeks he was annoying for those 2 weeks so gave it back. my current SO has his own room with his own tv and all his comps, xbox, ps 3, wii lol sooo much better!

SO used to be the same way, but he's gotten a lot better when I started doing it back. Or when I'd just turn off the xBox or the TV. But I'm kind of a bitch like that.

This is what my dh has set up in his man cave, it is little piece of heaven for him and our two boys and piece and quiet for me , although at times I will go and visit lol.

Id love to but he is a giant baby. The fact that he said he didn't care pissed me off the most, what a brat.

I just feel its petty because we are adults and shouldn't have to 'fight' over the tv.
