Anyway, have you ever hit your significant other? Has he ever hit you? I'm talking strictly about the person you're currently in a relationship with, not people from the past. And by hit, I mean striking out of anger, nothing playful.

Unfortunately yes. Fortunately, we grew the smurf up and stopped doing that.

Not with my hand but it was on accident. We were arguing and he made a remark about my phone so I said take it. i meant to throw it on the couch next to him but it ended up hitting his forehead.

This makes me sad.

No way. I treasure him more than anyone and vice versa. We don't even say "f you" or anything so strongly mean to one another. That's not how you treat you best friend and life partner.

Back when LO was first born we had a lot of problems. He never hit me but i hit him a couple times.

He slapped me once out of anger right after his first deployment. That was 7 years ago and he never put a hand on me since. Ive never hit him but I have bit him before

You bit him out of anger?

He's accidently hurt me a few time extremely unintentionally and I just out of pure shock slapped him in the chest or arm but nothing that's ever really hurt him.

We've never intentionally hurt each other though, no.

We never had an abusive relationship for 5 years. Then he pissed me off so bad I threw a toy at him when his back was facing me. He immediately snapped and pushed me, put his hands around my throat. He went to jail that night. And the judge gave us a 1 year restraining order. He's only hit me once really bad in the side of the neck, once or twice he punched me in the arm or back. and shoved me a couple times too. he went to jail a few more times and so maybe that worked for him... i was so close to leaving him, but things are actually good now and we laugh about it now...and instead of hurting each other I just tell him "man i really wanna sock you in the face right now, your being a god damn DICK!!!" lol

Yeah. Choking is pretty intense. I can imagine someone striking out of anger since it is a quick motion. However choking is a whole other game.

i felt that way too. he went to jail for a month and he wasn't allowed to call me. but not going to lie, after he was out i was glad to see him.
