formula question

what other things besides a rash could mean that your baby is allergic to the formula you are giving him/her?

puking, feverish, colicky probably...

up set tummy.

My son was allergic to the milk protein. He cried CONSTANTLY, spit up A LOT, seemed like a clingy baby but looking back his tummy was just hurting. He did have Pyloric Stenosis but even after his surgery he was put on Almentium until he was about 8 months old.

I am trying to figure out if he has reflux like my first son did or if the formula does not agree with him I think it is more the formula and have brought it up to his pedi but his doctor wanted to wait to weeks to see what happened. He isn't arching his back like my first did he is just having gerd and spitting up some and seems a little uncomfortable but nothing over the top just a little uncomfortable here and there so I guess colicky...

same with my daughter... she was on similac advanced, then we switched to nestle goodstart gentle ease because she was also constipated... she was like a whole new baby on that stuff!!!

did you switch her yourself or ask her doctor?

Just switched myself. I had to go to my doctor to get a note for WIC so they would provide checks for the new formula however.
