Healthy recipes please!

So beginning, like, now, I'm going to try to turn over a new leaf and start and *hopefully* stick with healthier habits. Any healthy recipes would be appreciated, and ideas for healthy snacks also! Grocery shopping tomorrow.
TIA!  


ETA: Please no seafood recipes.

I don't have any recepies but I would like to see some of them also! I know for snacks we do things like fresh fruit and veggies, low fat cheese and multi grain crackers.

I seriously recommend skinnytaste.com It's weight watchers friendly and the food is actually really good.

Tilapia and I marinate it in that grill mates baja citrus marinade and I use olive oil over vegetable oil. There is a lot of sodium in the marinade but it's SOOOO good lol. With steamed or grilled asparagus 10-15 from start to finish.

http://www.skinnytaste.com is a GREAT inspiration for healthy meal ideas.
I make sure to only eat lean protein, such as chicken and fish.
Nothing deep fried.
I do love to toss some raw sweet potato strips/chunks in 1 tbsp olive oil + some paprika and cayenne pepper to make them for a side.
Salads are the best too, and use a vinaigrette (I use olive oil + balsamic vinegar + sometimes garlic) as opposed to creamy dressings. Just amp up the veggies, like mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, etc.

I'll add some more when I collect my ideas haha.

Do you bake it?
I've never had asparagus in my life, lol. I'll give it a try though!

Lol that would probably help. Yes you bake it, I use a toaster oven and put it on 350 for about 7 minutes. Basically if you can flake the fish apart with a fork it's done. Asparagus is a strong flavor if you haven't had it before you'll probably want to put something on it. I changed my eating habits about a year ago and it has made A HUGE difference! I TRY to stay away from junk food, like sweet and chips, and limit processed food as much as possible. I just don't buy it so I don't have easy access. It was hard at first but now I can hold back on cravings the rare times I have them (usually around "that time of the month lol)

Ugh, I wish DH would get on board with me so I could keep the junk out. But that's not going to happen I don't think, BUT he does like tilapia, and tilapia is the ONLY seafood I'll eat. So that's a meal we can agree on at least!
