Quoting Dean Winchester:" dd is 30-35 pounds thats the most i usually lift and i know when i was pregnant with DD when i tried lifting 50 pounds at work i thought i was gonna die. :|"

Then that should be your limit. Dont exceed want you think is the right limit for you. Better to be on the more catious side of course!

I lift my 2 year old who is about 25 pounds all the time. My doctor never said anything about it.

My doctor told me not to lift more than 20 pounds after I was 20 weeks along. I work at a daycare now and I'm lifting the kids who weigh between 20-30 pounds without any issues so far but my body was also used to doing that before I got pregnant.

I would call your OB and go by what he/ she thinks. I was told not to lift anything over 15 pound and I was use to lift animals weighing up to 100 pounds. Many things could be a fact in how much your OB wants you to lift. Age, pregnancy history and general health might be some factors you OB might consider before they give you the weight limit during pregnancy. Again I would ask your OB about this.

I would ask your doctor.

I worked in a deli lifting boxes of chickens that weighed 50lbs+ until I was 34 weeks with no issue. My doctor said it was fine, as I've been doing this job for 2+ years and am used to it.
