Quoting Jennybananna:" baby was probably just having a lazy day it happens."yeah i thought the same but i will be worried until my non stress test huh
Quoting mrssenorita:" yeah i thought the same but i will be worried until my non stress test huh "as long as baby is meeting kick counts there isnt anything to worry about.
Quoting Jennybananna:" as long as baby is meeting kick counts there isnt anything to worry about."even kickcounts are very irregular last weekend i had 10 kicks an hour but for the past 2-3 days no kicks just barely movement
Quoting mrssenorita:" even kickcounts are very irregular last weekend i had 10 kicks an hour but for the past 2-3 days no kicks just barely movement"any movement counts towards kick counts. Babies rotate and change position also.
Quoting mrssenorita:" oh is it so..? like ideally how many kicks/movements one shud actually feel in a day? is it per day or hourly?"you should do kick counts daily when baby is usually most active and there should be 10 movements in that hour. My daughter was always most active at night I could go all day with nothing but as soon as like 9pm rolled around she was having a party in there.
Quoting mrssenorita:" ok.. that's the problem i don't feel 10 movements/kicks an hour its mostly one movement an hour like that. sometimes i dont feel any at all so i am worried"Its not 10 movements every hour. Its 1 hour out of 24 that you set aside to count. Pick the hour the baby is usually most active. They have sleep/wake cycles in the womb.
Quoting mrssenorita:" i got it but even in that one hour i don't feel 10 kicks. Sometimes even after having sweet/dessert my baby would not move/kick"some babies just arent that active or get in a weird position. If the ultrasound was fine I wouldnt worry.
